Bethany & Robert’s wedding was the first of two this season that took place at the Inn at Honey Run! The Inn at Honey Run is a boutique hotel in Ohio’s Amish Country, with an upscale, yet comfortable atmosphere. This peaceful, woodland venue is set among 50 acres of forest and meadows. Bethany & Robert’s ceremony took place outside, on the venue’s Treetop Pavilion. Follow the ceremony, guests moved to the Tarragon Room for cocktail hour and dinner, then dancing and desserts followed back on the Treetop Pavilion, where the couple danced the night away with all of their guests!
Oak & Honey Events designed and coordinated the couple’s wedding, making sure to add unique touches to showcase their quirky, steampunk style. The color palette consisted of gray, sage green, and shades of plum. Bethany & Robert also wanted to incorporate eco-friendly aspects in their wedding, which our team was happy to help coordinate! These aspects included using potted succulents for escort cards that can be re-used, locally sourced flowers, and favors that were locally made (jam from The Runcible Spoon, which is owned by the bride’s brother, as well as honey). Their flowers were also donated to a local nursing home.
